A Day with the Indian Army: “Know Your Army” Experience

On Friday, 20th February 2026, students of Grades VI–VIII from Meerut Public School, Pallavpuram visited Kulwant Singh Stadium, Meerut, to attend the “Know Your Army” programme organised by the Paschim UP Area in association with Dainik Jagran.

The event featured informative sessions conducted by Army officers, along with interactive displays, live demonstrations, multimedia presentations, and an engaging question-and-answer session. Students gained valuable insights into the functioning of the Indian Army, its disciplined lifestyle, diverse roles, and promising career opportunities.

The experience proved to be both educational and inspiring, deepening students’ understanding of the Armed Forces’ vital contribution to national security. They returned with a renewed sense of pride, respect, and awareness about serving the nation.

On Thursday, 20th March 2025 student’s excursion was organized by Meerut Public School Pallavpuram to Bouncy Planet, Nehru Planetarium, and Pradhan Mantri Sanghralaya in New Delhi for Grade Balvatika 1 to VIII .

The trip offered a perfect blend of fun and education, students of Foundation stage enjoyed various activities at Bouncy Planet and Students of Preparatory and Middle stage learnt about space science and India’s political history.

At the Nehru Planetarium, they explored the universe, and at the Prime Minister’s Museum students had an opportunity to explore the lives and contributions of India’s leaders through interactive exhibits and detailed displays. The excursion was informative, sparking curiosity and broadening students' horizons with a deeper understanding of India's democratic journey, inspiring students to appreciate the nation's rich political heritage.
