At Meerut Public School,Pallavpuram, education is viewed as a continuous journey of growth that harmoniously blends academic learning with discipline, values, and real-world exposure. The curriculum is aligned with the National Curriculum Framework for School Education (NCFSE) and CBSE guidelines, ensuring that students receive a modern, structured, and value-based education.

I- Teaching and Learning (TL) Approach

As an NCFSE-aligned institution, the school adopts a Student-centred approach that emphasizes engagement, curiosity, and conceptual understanding over rote learning.

III. Sports
MPS-PALLAVPURAM strongly believes that sports education is vital for discipline and character building .
Facilities Available:

  2. Indoor: Table Tennis, Chess, Yoga, Aerobics, Badminton, and Carrom.
  3. Separate sports periods in the timetable for every class.

Training and Coaching:

  2. Regular practice sessions for inter-house and inter-school competitions.
  3. Fitness and Yoga sessions for all classes to promote stamina and concentration

Participation:

  1. Students compete at Inter-house, Inter-school, The District, State, and National levels.

IV-  Student Attendance and Discipline (NSO Policy-salient aspects)
At MPS-PALLAVPURAM, discipline and attendance are closely monitored to ensure consistency in learning.
Attendance Policy

  1. 75% attendance is compulsory for appearing in the final examination.
  2. Attendance is marked daily and parents are notified in case of irregularity through CampusCare app.
  3. Absence must be supported with a leave application.
  4. Long absence without prior permission may result in disciplinary action.
  5. Students must attend all important school events such as Independence Day, Sports Day, and Founders’ Day.

Discipline Policy (NSO Framework):

  1. Students must wear the prescribed uniform neatly  with pride.
  2. Respect towards teachers, staff, and peers is expected at all times.
  3. Bullying, misconduct, or use of inappropriate language will not be tolerated.
  4. Students are trained in self-discipline rather than punishment. Counselling is the first step for corrective action.
  5. For repeated indiscipline, parents are called, and serious cases are reported to the Disciplinary Committee.

V. Promotion and Detention
Promotion and detention at MPS-PALLAVPURAM are based on comprehensive academic performance, discipline, and attendance.
Promotion Policy:

  1. Promotion is not based on examination results alone, but on overall, year-long performance.
  2. Criteria include:
  3. Performance in FAs and SAs.
  4. Participation in projects, practicals, and activities.
  5. Regularity, punctuality, and discipline.
  6. Students must secure minimum qualifying grades in each subject as per CBSE norms.
  7. Cases of learning difficulty are handled with class interventions and counselling before finalising promotion decisions.

Detention Policy:

  1. Detention is a last resort, and is only used when a student fails to meet basic academic and attendance requirements.
  2. Students with less than 75% attendance or persistent poor performance despite remedial efforts may not be promoted.
  3. Parents are involved throughout the process with regular updates.
  4. The focus is to support the child’s progress rather than penalise.

This ensures that every student who is promoted is academically prepared and emotionally ready for the next class.

 School Fees Payment Policy
The school has adopted a fully digital fee payment system to ensure ease, accuracy, and transparency for parents. All financial transactions are managed exclusively through the School ERP – CampusCare by Campus, eliminating the need for physical counters or cash handling.

1. Mode of Payment

  1. All school fees are to be paid exclusively through the School ERP – CampusCare.
  2. Parents can log in to their CampusCare account and make payments using net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI.
  3. Digital receipts are automatically generated after each transaction and can be downloaded for records.

2. Payment Schedule

  1. The annual fee structure along with due dates is shared with parents at the beginning of the academic year on the School Website.
  2. The School offers a discount of 5% on one time full payment for the complete session, if paid by 30 April of that particular session (subject to change on the discretion of the Management).
  3. Monthly Fee should be paid by the 10th of each month.
  4. Timely reminders are sent through ERP notifications, Google Classroom (LMS), and school circulars.

3. Late Fee Policy

  1. The name of the child is liable to be struck off the rolls in case of non-payment of dues by the fourth month and the student will be asked to seek readmission after paying the charges.
  2. Continuous non-payment may result in withholding of report cards, examination results, or access to ERP until dues are cleared.
  3. Parents are kindly advised to adhere to deadlines to avoid late charges.

4. Refunds & Adjustments

  1. Fees once paid are non-refundable and non-transferable, except in special cases approved by school management.
  2. Any adjustments related to scholarships, concessions, or sibling discounts (if applicable) are reflected directly in the ERP system.

5. Transparency for Parents

  1. The ERP student profile reflects complete details of payments made, pending dues, and downloadable receipts.
  2. Parents can log in anytime to check their ward’s financial records, ensuring complete clarity and transparency.

6. Benefits of Digital Fee Payment

  1. Safe, secure, and cashless system.
  2. 24×7 accessibility for parents to pay from anywhere.
  3. Instant receipt generation for records.
  4. Reduced manual errors and complete accountability.

7. Support and Assistance

  1. In case of any technical issues while making online payments, parents may reach out to the Accounts Office through the ERP Helpdesk.
  2. Dedicated support ensures that queries are resolved promptly without any disruption.
