  • 77th Independence Day Celebration

The 77th Independence Day event held at Meerut Public School, Pallavpuram, was a stirring homage to the spirit of freedom and unity. The school premises were bedecked in the tricolor, radiating an air of patriotic fervor and pride. The theme for this year's Independence Day “Nation First, Always First” was notified and how India wants to keep growing and being diverse and fair.

Commencing with an earnest welcome and a rousing patriotic song by the school choir, the event reverberated with the essence of independence. The primary section students then enthralled the audience with a heartwarming welcome and a captivating patriotic dance, their performances brimming with youthful energy and zeal.

A speech on independence was delivered in French, showcasing the school's global outlook and commitment to diverse perspectives. The kindergarten students, portraying freedom fighters, left a lasting impression, instilling ideals of valor and sacrifice even in the youngest minds. The pyramid formation by the students symbolized unity and strength. This breathtaking spectacle was followed by the principal's insightful address, underscoring the significance of freedom, education, and societal responsibility.

As India marks its 77th Independence Day, it's important to reflect on its journey. From colonial subjugation to a thriving democratic nation, India's growth has been marked by resilience, diversity, and progress. The path hasn't been without challenges, but through dedication and unity, India has evolved into a global force, celebrating its freedom and continuously striving for development in various sectors.
