The world environment day is celebrated every year on 5th June to raise global awareness and take positive environmental action to protect nature and the planet earth. It is a day that reminds everyone to get involved in environment friendly activities. From school children to community groups, companies and governments, all come together to pledge towards building a greener planet and a healthier environment.
Keeping this aim in view, students at MPS Pallavpuram came together to celebrate this day by making Students posters & writing slogans .
They learned Simple Things that can help to protect The Environment:
Reduce, reuse, and recycle - Reduce is the waste that we throw away. We should follow the three "Rs" to conserve natural resources.
Educate people can so that they can help others understand the value and importance of our natural resources.
Save water
Use jute Bags / Cloth Bags for shopping.
Use durable lights - Energy-efficient lamps reduce greenhouse gas emissions. We must turn off the light when we leave the room!
Planting a tree - Trees provide food and oxygen. They help save energy, clean the air, and help fight climate change.
Use toxins free products - Avoid products which contain toxins such as sulfate and paraben.
Therefore, this Day serves as an eye-opener & encourages people to be active in developing Environmental protection measures. & to keep their Environment safe and clean so that everyone has a clean, green and prosperous future.
