The realm of traditional art and craft has expanded its horizon to many new creative avenues. Art and craft have always been valued but the popularity has risen in modern times with people exploring new tools, styles and media, in traditional crafts as well as contemporary crafts.
MPS Pallavpuram organized a Pidilite Workshop on 23 December '22 for the students Grades III - V during their hobby class. The objective was to update the knowledge of students, immerse them into world of innovation and techniques and inculcate the one-to one advise provided by our expert Ms Sarika Goel, PRT Art and Craft, in their creative and artistic outcome. Students made key chains and other small Christmas ornaments using clay, empty boxes and acrylic colours.
They were briefed various techniques of handling of tools, painting, stamping and clay casting for ornamentation in a way to aesthetical appeal enhancement and its applications further on their design projects.
Overall, it was a delightful experience where one and all reflected their imaginative capabilities and enjoyed at their utmost.
