MPS Pallavpuram is celebrating December as the 'Joy of Giving' month. To commemorate it, we conducted an event named 'A Day Out With MPS Pallavpuram' in Ansal Courtyard on 11 December '22. The goal was to empower students to engage ethically and the most importantly, to promote human values and ethics.
The event initiated with the pious Yoga Session of renowned Yogacharya, Dr Rohit Kaushik. It was a lecture-cum-demonstration session on various Meditation and Grounding techniques. He emphasized on the importance of keeping the mind, stress and anxiety free so that students could focus well in every sphere of their life and take up challenges with a positive mind set. The students and the staff had hands on learning from the session and had many precious takeaways from the enriching session.
In the later part of the event, the school choir made the audience to sing along.
Children of Ansal Courtyard participated enthusiastically in various competitions like Drawing Competition, Singing Competition, Solo Dance Competition and Satnd Up Performance. The competition were held for the three categories from age groups 3-5, 6-8 and 9-10. The show stopper part was the group dance by the school students. They exhilarated the audience and the children of the colony joined our dancing group in the starge and tapped their feet.
Head Admin MPS Group, Col Pramod Singh Attri and Madam Principal, Mrs Chitra Sharma felicitated the participants with the certificates and gifts.
The event concluded with the vote of thanks extended by the coordinator Mrs Priyanka Rastogi.
The residents of the colony were very enthusiastic and requested to conduct such programs in future too.
Such activities always help to nurture strong and positive individuals in an anxiety driven and stress ridden world and the Vision and Mission of the school always corroborates this.
