In an attempt to make learning more enjoyable for students, MPS Group observes a 'NO BAG DAY' on Saturdays for the students of Grades I and II. On this one day, the emphasis is kept on allowing students to have a stress-free time and make them study in a fun way. Keeping in mind this fact, Pallavpuram wing observed its first No Bag Day of the session 22-23 on *3 April '22.
The day began with a short assembly which included an interesting General Knowledge Quiz and the facts shared by Academic Coordinator, Mrs Priyanka Rastogi. Once back in their classes, the activities held focused on developing listening, speaking and fine motor skills.
The day’s schedule remained the same and the topics for the day were taught through interactive exercises, practical experiments, fun worksheets etc. Activities like Know the Numbers- Ordinal Numbers, Alphabets- Vowels and Consonants, My Family Tree, Hindi Swar Mala and Know Your Senses Organs etc. were conducted and the overjoyed students participated enthusiastically. While reducing the burden of carrying books to school, it also enhanced the learning experience as what they learned on that special day through different teaching methods left a stronger impression on their minds.
