Janamashtami is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Krishna, one of the most powerful and famous reincarnations of Lord Vishnu.
MPS Pallavpuram celebrated Janamashti, on August 17 2022, with great mirth and religious fervour.
To celebrate the extraordinary bond between children and the Almighty a special assembly was conducted.The students of Kindergarten dressed up as lord Krishna and Radha, complete with flutes, peacock feathers and matkis.
Children also enjoyed watching a short act based on ‘Little Krishna’ and danced to Krishna hymns. The students shared thoughts, offered prayers, chanted hymns and poems.
The bright and joyful faces of children lit the festive aura with spirit of love, devotion and faith.
A Tableau Making Inter House Competition was organised wherein the spirit of festivity was enhanced with Jhankis depicting life history of Lord Krishna. The celebration that followed was truly entertaining and educating.
Madam Principal blessed all the students on this auspicious day and gave them the message as always, looking ahead instead of reminiscing in the past.
