8th March is considered as an International Women's Day. This day brings many things for women - a cause for celebration, a reason to pause and re-evaluate a remembrance, an inspiration and a time to honour, loved and admired. To honour womanhood, MPS Pallavpuram celebrated International Women's Day on Tuesday, 8 March, 2022 on the theme 'Dress Your Dream'
Mothers and grandmothers of the students were invited as the guests on the occasion. Dr Arti Kotpal, Gynaecologist & Obstetrician, joined as the guest speaker and Madam Mrs Richa Sharma, Advisor MPS Group, joined as the special guest to grace the event.
The celebration initiated with the lightening of the lamp followed by the felicitation of the guests and welcome speech of the Principal ma'am, Mrs Chitra Sharma.
Madam Advisor also spoke on the women's day theme of the current year, i. e. 'Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow'.
A scintillating dance performance by the faculties mesmerized the audience. The program grew more exhilarating when different fun games like Special Tambola, Musical Puzzle and Memory Game were played. Guests enjoyed the activities and showed their active participation.
The celebration steered forward with the speech by the guest speaker, Mrs Arti Kotpal. In her address madam inspired and encouraged all the women to keep excelling consistently and to keep moving in life all the time.
The program culminated with the vote of thanks presented by the Academic Coordinator ma'am, Mrs Priyanka Rastogi.
