On 26 February '22, MPS Pallavpuram celebrated National Science Day in the honour of Dr CV Raman to mark his discovery of Raman Effect. Dr CV Raman along with many Indian Scientists paved the way for the coming generations.
An exhibition was organised where the young scientists from classes Nursery to V showcased and demonstrated their projects.
The objective of the exhibition was not only to inculcate a scientific attitude and research-mindedness but also creating teaching aids. It involved students to participate in activities so as to understand the cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects of the task. The models were made by the students under the guidance of their teachers.The students very confidently spoke about the models and explained about them in detail.
Madam Principal, Mrs Chitra Sharma, appreciated the efforts of the students for exhibiting static and working models which can be used for learning various scientific concepts. She also applauded them for their innovative ideas and creativity.
