    Teaching Learning Approach

Meerut Public School, Pallavpuram defines a systematic, sequential education system to develop good human beings capable of rational thoughts and actions. We follow "National Curriculum Framework for School Education" as a part of our school curriculum with desirable Values, Dispositions, Capacities and Knowledge. School experiences direct teaching learning experience in different curricular areas as well as the overall school culture and ethos. Smart Panels in the classrooms are aligned with Google classrooms to encourage paperless sharing and effective communication between teachers, students and parents. We have replaced rote learning into hands- on experience learning which help in the holistic development of the child. Physical exercise, Educational Field Trips, Visual learning, performing art, culture and literature, Stage Presentation, logical thinking are used as Five-fold Development in the form of "Pancha kosha Vikas" of the child to enhance the experiential learning of the child.

In a Teaching Learning Process (TLP), it is essential that Teaching Practice (Input) and Learning Outcomes (Output) are tested through a systemic approach which is well aligned, targeted and has precise measurement and control methods.

Learning Outcomes is desired end-state in Students, with the implementation of Bloom's Taxonomy Levels, this assessment system is a continuous improvement process, measurable and is feedback driven. We have been analyzing our Academic Performance Indices (APIs) of our classes, of our subject teachers and the students, for better performance and targeted results.

    • The curriculum is child oriented, focusing on play-based learning and individual personalities.
    • The integration of all the areas of learning provides ample opportunities for children to make connections between their experiences.
    • In addition to instructional time, we also have time allotted for – Self-Registration, Montessori activities, Expert period, Brain Gym and Circle time.
    • A structured Homework policy further supports students 'learning and engagement in a fun way and helps parents to participate in their child's learning journey on a whole.
    • To make learning and teaching fun, school follows a 'Bagless Day' on every Friday for Balvatika classes and Saturday for classes 1& 2
    • Students participate in hands-on integrated activities to ensure practical and meaningful reinforcements of the concepts.

    Preparatory and Middle Stage Curriculum

    • The Preparatory and Middle Stage Curriculum is based on CBSE pattern as per NCFSE 2023
    • It aims to ensure that young people become successful learners, confident individuals, and responsible citizens. The structure of the curriculum has been designed to provide breadth and balance whilst maintaining focus on all basic skills.
    • There is a strong emphasis on children's personal development, including the development of learning and thinking skills and personal, social and emotional skills.
    • Student centered teaching-learning activities are being focused at this level. A teacher plays the role of a facilitator to make students active, and the classroom lively.
    • Student centered teaching-learning activities help make teaching learning effective, give behavioral education and make students active. Inclusive teaching procedures apply in a classroom to involve all students.
