Yoga Mahotsav Day-3 'Balanced Diet'

To increasing children's awareness of the importance of healthy eating and helping them to make the right choices in terms of their diet and well-being, MPS Pallavpuram conducted a session on Balanced Diet and Yoga on 20 June 2021.
Guest speaker Dr. Rohit Kaushik interacted with students in a friendly way to teach them some important and easy yoga poses and discussed the benefits of a balanced diet. Sir also shared the names of some immunity building food and the food which may be avoided especially during covid times, when body needs more energy building food.
Dr. Rohit Kaushik involved students in some simple yoga asanas for eyes, neck, back and shoulders. These yoga exercises would benefit them during these trying times when they are attending online classes and their movement has become very less.
At the end, parents expressed their gratitude towards school for conducting such a useful session for students.
