To mark the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, MPS Pallavpuram celebrated the "National Unity Day" on 31st October 2023. The celebration commenced by invoking God's blessings. The essence of the day was highlighted by a meaningful speech. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, an icon for National Unity was fondly remembered. His vision for the Nation was articulated by the students and the teachers taking a pledge striving towards "Ekta". Madam Principal addressed the assembly and spoke of the man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel who played a crucial role in the unification of India.
Children of classes 3 to 5 actively participated in the Ekta Diwas. The energetic children were involved in the activity - “Short Distance Run for Unity” outside the school premises ending up with sloganeering of Strength in Unity on the streets.
The basic idea behind the celebration is to enable students to appreciate the value of synergic effort rather than individual effort so that students go back to the society as ambassadors of unity, peace and safety.
