Believing that games and sports have become an integral element of present day education, MPS Pallavpuram celebrated the National Sports Day on 29 September ’22 amidst a lot of fun and frolic.
The eventful day initiated with the special assembly where the sports head threw light on the life of Major Dhyan Chand who was known as 'the Hockey Wizard'.
To teach the qualities of discipline, sportsmanship, team spirit and leadership various sports activities were conducted. Enthusiastic students participated in various sports events like frog jump, collect the balls, zig zag running, balancing the cones, jump with circle, running with the balloons, sack race, boys frog jump race/ girls relay race.
The celebration culminated with the felicitation of the winners with the certificates by Madam Principal.
In her address she
advised that it is not important to win, it is participation that makes all the difference. She congratulated the staff and student council for the successful afternoon.
