This means: There's only one God, his name is the only truth, he is the only creator, he is fearless, he is without hate, he is immortal, he is beyond birth and death, and by only his grace one can chant his name.
MPS Pallavpuram celebrated Gurpurab, also known as Guru Nanak's Prakash Utsav through a special assembly on 7 November '22 with great spirituality. This auspicious day celebrates the birth of the first Sikh Guru and is one of the most sacred festivals in Sikhism. As the festival was celebrated in all its sanctity, the students sang and prayed in praise of the almighty. They were also made to understand Guru Nanak Dev Ji's baani in order to instill good values in them.
The poem recited by the grade V student was a wonderful tribute to Guru Nanak Dev Ji's life. It reminded the students the importance of service to fellow human beings and devotion to the Almighty. A speech was also delivered throwing a light on Guru Nanak Dev Ji's teachings, philosophy and contribution to the society.
The celebration concluded by a happy note and motivational words of madam Principal, Mrs Chitra Sharma. Her words inspired the students to follow the path of truth, service and devotion.
