Republic Day Celebration

29 states, 1618 languages, 6400 castes, 6 major religions, 6 ethnic groups, 1 country. This shows that despite having diverse culture, traditions, languages, religions, we stand together as one. This shows our unity in diversity and we are proud that we are Indians.

"A country's greatness lies in its undying ideals of love and sacrifice that inspire the mothers of the race." - Sarojini Naidu

MPS Pallavpuram celebrated, Republic Day, the day of national rejoicing in our country with great pomp, zeal and spirit throughout the week with different activities. Tiny tots of kindergarten participated in Tri Colour Food Mela and Poem Recitation activites. The scholars of primary blazed their talent through different Inter House Competitions like Slogan Writing, Singing Competition, Declamation, Quiz and Speech conducted online.
MPS Pallavpuram keeps conducting life skills sessions for young minds. These sessions, by school counselor Ms Divya Goel, train them on life skills like Decision Making Skill, Conflict Resolution, Problem Solving Skill, Positive Mental Health and much more. On the occasion of Republic Day children showcased how their mindset got transformed to a growth mindset with life skill sessions through non-digital activities they crafted.
The school premises dazzled with the patriotic fervour and at 9 am the flag was unfurled by madam principal followed with the national anthem. Inspiring national song was sung mellifuously in chorus by the teachers. The school choir also joined virtually and reverberated the premises with enthusiasm. The celebrations culminated with an inspiring speech by madam principal, Mrs Chitra Sharma that gave an impetus to the event.
"जय जन भारत जन मन अभिमत
जय जन भारत जन मन अभिमत
जन गण तंत्र विधाता
जय गण तंत्र विधाता"
These lines by Sumitra Nandan Pant fills our heart with pride that we belong to the largest democracy in the world.

Jai Hind! 🇮🇳

Thanks and regards
Team Pallavpuram
