  • Diwali Celebration

The significance of Deepawali is the removal of darkness and ignorance from the mind and filing it with goodness. It is a symbol of hope for humankind that brings universal compassion, inner joy of peace, love and the awareness of unity to all.

The festival of lights came alive at MPS Pallavpuram on the 22 of October 2022 when the entire wing wore a festive look with Diyas and lanterns adorning the corridors in bright colours.

A special assembly was conducted on the auspicious occasion.
Students talked about the significance of the festival - how good always conquered the evil and also about why and how Diwali is celebrated across India. The students were sensitized to the ill-effects of crackers and they all pledged to celebrate 'Green Diwali' by saying 'No' to crackers.
The assembly concluded with teachers giving away the message of a clean, peaceful and a bright Diwali.
An array of activities like Diya Making, Festoon Making, Bow and Arrow Making and Rangoli Making Inter House Competition were conducted on the auspicious occasion.
In the presence of Ms Madhu Sirohi ma'am, Executive Member of Governing Council, MPS Group, Principal, staff and students Diwali Pujan was organised that added charm and religious fervor to the atmosphere. Everyone sought the blessings of Lord Ganesha and Goddess Laxmi.
The celebration concluded with the warm wishes and blessings of Sirohi ma'am. Ma'am gave the message of a clean, peaceful and a bright Diwali.
