As it is rightly said by Cicero, ‘To know nothing of what happened before you, is to forever remain a child’.
To celebrate childhood, MPS Pallavpuram celebrated the grandeur of the 10 days Summer Camp 'SUNNY SMILES'. The aim of the camp was to provide the students an opportunity to encourage them to pursue various activities of their choice. This ten days Summer Extravaganza culminated on 30 May, 2022 with a grand culmination ceremony.
The celebration initiated with the floral welcome of the Chief Guest, Dr Asha Anand, retired professor and HOD Fine Arts , INPG College, Meerut.
The lighting of the lamp gave an auspicious start to the day.
During the camp an array of the activities were conducted like Herb Garden, Origami, Wall Painting, Skating, My Experiment Corner, Zumba, Salsa and the major attraction was Mushroom Plantation.
On the final day, the little butterflies of Pallavpuram came out of their pupa, stretched their wings and spread the colours of happiness through different performances. On the one hand Welcome Song and Invocation Dance made the environment soothing, on the other hand Nukkad Natak made the audience laughed till tears.
Tiny tots also tapped their feet on zumba and salsa dance beats.
The guests immensely enjoyed the riveting stage performances and congratulated the students on the spectacular show.
Chief Guest of the day, Dr Asha Anand, praised the efforts of the students and blessed them.
Madam Principal, Mrs Chitra Sharma, complimented the students on their magnificent performance, extended her gratitude towards the parents and appreciated the enthusiastic staff.
The day finally culminated with the vote of thanks extended by the academic coordinator, Mrs Priyanka Rastogi.
