Basant Panchami is considered as the birthday of Goddess Saraswati, as she is said to have appeared on earth to eradicate the sadness of all living beings, through the gift of speech. As it is an ideal day to pay ode to Devi Saraswati so MPS Pallavpuram celebrated Basant Panchami with great fervour.

The spring of joy took over when students participated in the activities, like Kite Making, Kite Decor, Origami Kite Making, Lotus Making (clay moulding) and Poster Making, highlighting the significance of the festival.

In Temple Decoration and Yellow Bhog Making activities students sought blessings from Goddess Saraswati. In school, the celebration commenced with divine fervor and spirituality. The Saraswati Poojan was followed by the aarti and the rendition of the spiritual song - ‘Hey Sharde Maa’ by the teachers.The faculty members, attired in yellow, sought the blessings of the Almighty and prayed together to attain enlightenment.

Advisor Ma'am, Mrs Richa Sharma and Principal Ma'am, Mrs Chitra Sharma, apprised everyone about the significance of the day and glorified the magnificence of Goddess Saraswati, the epitome of knowledge and wisdom. The festivity culminated with the prasad distribution.
