MPS Pallavpuram celebrated the festivals of Lohri and Makar Sankranti with gaiety and fanfare as each festival celebrated is a landmark for our spiritual growth.
The MPS Group teaches people to share their similarities and celebrate their differences, since a culture expresses itself most accurately through the richness and depth of its celebrations.
Online classes enabled the teachers to share the significance of the festivals through a movie show. An array of activities like Kite Making, Til Gud Ladoo Making and Reciting Lohri Boliyan were conducted. The theme of the celebrations was Unity in Diversity.
The students came up with many creative ideas. They exhibited their spectacular presentation skills during these activities. Kindergarten celebrated Yellow Day. The primary students looked fabulous in their traditional and colourful attire.
A Lohri Poojan was also organised wherein rewri, jaggery and popcorn were offered at the bonfire. All the educators also tapped their feet enthusiastically during the celebration.
They participated enthusiastically in the activities and were proud of their accomplishments. It was a wonderful day and a learning experience for all.
The celebrations culminated with greetings from Madam Principal, Mrs. Chitra Sharma. She wished everyone a festive holiday filled with positivity and warmth.
