Books are a uniquely portable Magic!
The students of Meerut Public School Pallavpuram are constantly exposed to a variety of enriching experiences both in the field of academics and co-curricular activities. The school always commemorates special days that are celebrated on a global platform. One such event was the ‘World Book Day’ that was celebrated with great enthusiasm on 23 April 2021.The objective of the event was to encourage students to become avid readers and to constantly endeavour to enhance their vocabulary. To highlight the benefits of reading, story session was conducted by Kindergarten teachers for students wherein they shared the story of real time characters. To further enhance the virtual aura with the peculiarities of books, various activities like making of different types of book marks, in conversation with your favourite character and know about parts of books, were conducted online.
