'Right now, the most important aspect of conserving nature is the soil. If we do not stop soil degradation, the planet will not be conducive for human beings to live upon.' -Sadhguru
As we all are aware that Sadhguru, a well-known spiritual leader has launched the "Save Soil Movement" to save soil. He says that soil is the basis of our life and this planet is in danger because of the depleting layer of soil.
Following the same, MPS Pallavpuram organised a Save Soil Campaign.
A 'Save Soil' rally was organised followed by the plantation drive in a colony nearby the school to address the soil crisis by bringing together people from around the world to stand up for Soil Health, and supporting leaders of all nations to institute national policies and actions towards increasing the organic content in cultivable soil.
As per the provided guidelines of Isha Foundation the students had also written letters to the honorable Prime Minister wherein they shared their ideas and elucidated their mission and ways of saving soil.
The entire teaching staff and the students received the certificates as a token of appreciation.
Madam Principal, Mrs Chitra Sharma lauded the enthusiastic efforts of the staff and the students.
