Kargil Vijay Diwas is celebrated to commemorate the sacrifice of those brave soldiers who died in the line of duty to protect our great nation.
MPS Pallavpuram soleminzed 'Kargil Vijay Diwas' on July 25, 2022 to reminisce India's war victory and to pay tribute to Kargil Martyrs who are the symbol of courage and sacrifice for safeguarding the borders of the Country.
The entire staff along with the students paid homage to the soldiers of Kargil through different activities conducted during online classes. The activities like Making Soldiers using Icecream sticks and Patriotic Poem Recitation were conducted, in order to instil a sense of patriotism in the students, apart from honing their creativity and imagination. The students of grades IV & V demonstrated their patriotism by drafting beautiful Posters and Gratitude Cards.
Madam Principal, Mrs Chitra Sharma, appreciated & applauded the initiatives and efforts of the students. In her address she motivated the students saying that patriotism is a social value, the feeling of patriotism is to be inculcated at school level to make sure that students become the responsible citizens of our Nation.
