Capacity Building Programme 2026: Designing Competency-Focused Questions Through Bloom's Taxonomy

Meerut Public School, Ved Vyas Puri organised a five-day Capacity Building Programme from 19 - 23 May 2026 to strengthen the pedagogical and assessment practices of teachers from the Foundational, Preparatory, and Middle Stages.
The sessions were conducted by the Heads of Departments of various subjects and focused on Competency-Focused Questions and Bloom's Taxonomy. Educators were guided on preparing assessment blueprints, designing balanced question papers, and framing questions across different cognitive levels to promote experiential, analytical, and application-based learning.
The programme also emphasised competency-based assessment, learning outcomes, and effective classroom practices that foster critical thinking, creativity, problem-solving, and conceptual understanding among students. Teachers actively participated in discussions, collaborative activities, and practical exercises, making the sessions highly engaging and enriching.
The workshop enhanced educators' understanding of learner-centred pedagogy and reinforced the importance of designing meaningful assessments that support holistic student development. Principal Ma'am appreciated the dedicated efforts of the HODs and the enthusiastic participation of all educators in making the programme successful and impactful.

Capacity Building Programme 2026: Enhancing Digital Teaching Through Google Classroom and Data Handling

A three-day Capacity Building Programme on Google Classroom Skills and Data Handling was conducted from 19th to 21st May 2026 at Meerut Public School, Ved Vyas Puri, with the objective of strengthening teachers' digital competencies and promoting technology-enabled teaching practices.
The sessions were facilitated by Mr. Ankur Farswal and Mr. Ashu Verma, who guided educators on effectively leveraging Google Classroom to create organised, collaborative, and learner-centric digital learning environments.
The programme focused on practical aspects of class creation and management, assignment and quiz design, Google Forms integration, rubric-based assessment, grading and feedback, Google Drive organisation, communication tools, and mobile application usage. Special emphasis was placed on maintaining systematic digital records through proper naming conventions and resource management practices.
Teachers were also introduced to effective data handling techniques, competency-based assessment strategies, and best digital practices to enhance classroom efficiency and student learning outcomes. The sessions highlighted how Google Classroom can strengthen communication and transparency by enabling parents to monitor assignments, progress, and academic performance more effectively.
The highly interactive programme encouraged educators to embrace innovation, digital readiness, and technology-integrated teaching practices, empowering them to create more engaging and meaningful learning experiences.
The workshop proved to be enriching and professionally rewarding, inspiring teachers to take the teaching-learning process 'To Greater Heights.'

 



Capacity Building Programme 2026: 'Kaushal Bodh'

As part of its commitment to fostering future-ready learning, Meerut Public School, Ved Vyas Puri conducted a Capacity Building Programme on Kaushal Bodh for educators in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and NCF-SE 2023. The programme was facilitated by Ms. Pragya Sharma, TGT Science, and Ms. Shubhi Agarwal, TGT Mathematics, with the objective of equipping teachers with effective strategies to integrate vocational and skill-based education into classroom practices.
The sessions focused on the transition from rote learning to experiential, activity-based, and project-based learning, enabling educators to connect classroom concepts with real-life applications. Teachers explored the framework of skill education and gained valuable insights into the three domains of work - working with life forms, materials and machines, and human services.
The programme emphasised the development of critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, problem-solving abilities, and dignity of labour, all of which are essential for nurturing future-ready learners. Educators also explored innovative approaches to integrating skill education with classroom instruction through community participation, local resources, field visits, skill clubs, and experiential learning opportunities.
The workshop proved to be highly enriching and insightful, strengthening educators' capacity to create meaningful, engaging, and skill-oriented learning experiences. It reaffirmed the school's commitment to holistic education and innovative pedagogical practices as it continues its journey 'To Greater Heights.'

 



Capacity Building Programme 2026: Computational Thinking and Artificial Intelligence

A two-day Capacity Building Programme on Computational Thinking (CT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) was conducted on 25 and 26 May at Meerut Public School, Ved Vyas Puri. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from teachers across the sister branches of Meerut Public School Group and aimed to strengthen educators' understanding of 21st-century learning skills and innovative teaching practices.

The sessions highlighted the four pillars of Computational Thinking—Decomposition, Pattern Recognition, Abstraction, and Algorithmic Thinking—and their integration across subjects. Teachers actively engaged in interactive activities, collaborative discussions, and problem-solving exercises designed to promote analytical and critical thinking.

The workshop also highlighted the role of Artificial Intelligence in education, covering its practical applications, ethical considerations, and the importance of digital citizenship. Participants gained valuable insights into competency-based learning, technology integration, and learner-centric pedagogical approaches.

Principal Ma'am conveyed her appreciation and gratitude to Col. Gyan Singh Tomar, Director Academics & Systems, MPS Group for providing such a meaningful professional development opportunity. The Management also extended its best wishes for the successful conduct of the programme.

Capacity Building Programme on Active Learning

Meerut Public School, Ved Vyas Puri organised a Capacity Building Programme on "Active Learning" with the objective of strengthening effective teaching practices and fostering learner-centred classrooms. The programme was facilitated by Mr. Ankur Farswal, CBSE Resource Person, who brought with him rich academic insight and extensive experience in contemporary pedagogical practices.

The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from teachers representing different branches of the Meerut Public School Group, creating a vibrant platform for collaborative learning and professional dialogue. The sessions focused on innovative instructional strategies, active classroom engagement, experiential learning techniques, and reflective teaching practices aligned with the vision of NCF-SE 2023.

The initiative reaffirmed the importance of continuous professional growth in enhancing teaching effectiveness and improving learning outcomes. By nurturing a culture of professional development and reflective practice, the school continues to strengthen its commitment to excellence in education and holistic growth.
