"No matter how far we are , this day always brings back the childhood memories."

All the festivals in India are celebrated with true spirit and teach us about our Indian traditions and keep us grounded with our culture. And talking about festivals, a festival that is most dearest and keeps the sibling connected throughout no matter where they are is

'Raksha Bandhan'. It is a special occasion to celebrate the virtuous bond of love between a brother and a sister which is one of the deepest and noblest of all human emotions. It is one of the most endearing ways to celebrate the bond between brothers and sisters. To commemorate this festival, a Rakhi Making Activity was organized for the students of Meerut Public School, Ved Vyas Puri on 19th August 2021 on a virtual platform. Children crafted beautiful Rakhis and Rakhi platters using different articles like silken thread, ribbon, etc. Their artisanship was quite fascinating and children thoroughly enjoyed this activity that tickled their creative side. A PPT was also shown to make the children understand the importance of the festival.The event was celebrated with full enthusiasm and zeal . The day marked a beautiful celebration of the purest and long lasting bond between brothers and sisters.
