Conducted a Session on Radical Acceptance

"On the sacred path of Radical Acceptance, rather than striving for perfection, we discover how to love ourselves into wholeness."

To acquaint the educators with distress tolerance skills an interactive session was organised in Meerut Public School, Ved Vyas Puri on 19 September by Ms. Divya Goel, the counsellor, MPS Group.

It was a lively session in which Radical Acceptance was defined as the ability to accept situations that are outside of our control without judging them, which in turn reduces the suffering that is caused by them.

The proposal of meditation, mindfulness and the letting it go attitude empowered the attendees with the ways to walk out of tensions, worries, stress and anxiety in daily life. An activity on objectifying the thoughts was a medium to dwell into positivity.

It was a marvellous learning experience to understand that rather than being attached to a painful past, radical acceptance suggests that non-attachment is the key to overcoming suffering.

The revered Principal Mr. Rajeev Goel expressed deep gratification towards Ms. Divya Goel for organizing the session on the topic that holds present day significance and urged the teachers to practice the art of radical acceptance to attain happiness and remain stress free.
