Independence Day Celebration

Let peace prevail in the country, and we become free in our mind, body, faith, and soul. Let there be nothing but unity.

The Independence Day is celebrated under the broader ambit of AZADI KA AMRUT MAHOTSAV  by the Ministry of India in order to inculcate the spirit of patriotism and make educatums learn the value of freedom. It took hundreds of years for us to break shackles of slavery.

This annual observance has a great significance and this special day is celebrated for commemorating our brave leaders and fighters of history who won us the freedom we are enjoying today.

Keeping this notion in mind, the learners of MEERUT PUBLIC SCHOOL, VED VYAS PURI undertook plethora of events to celebrate the 76th Independence Day.
The students commenced the day by wearing handmade paper flags and hoisting the National Flag under the program "Har Ghar Tiranga".

The event was followed by a poem recited by the students dressed as "BAPU" .

Next in the flow was a patriotic song by the tiny tots  invoked the sense of nationalism in everyone's heart.

The squad of VVP believes in rejuvenating the chauvinism in the minds of the educatums so, to pay tribute to the Freedom fighters a Tableau Competition was conducted with the theme National Movements which echoed the feeling of patriotism in every corner of the school.

A presentation was presented to the students of primary wing with the theme 75.

The young debaters of class 10th, 11th and 12th participated in an Open House Session on the topic- India the world's largest democracy is set to overtake China as the world's most populous country sometime next year. Why are we still on a developing stage? The enthusiasm spread all over with the mesmerising performance.

The captain of the ship, Mr Rajeev Goel told the students about the supreme sacrifice the great martyrs who sacrificed lives for the sake of freedom. He added that the freedom is never dear at any price so one must strive to preserve it.

Meerut Public School, Vyas Puri marked the 76th Independence Day with much gaiety and alacrity.
