Workshop on Functioning of Banks

Meerut Public School, Ved Vyas Puri, hosted an enlightening and knowledge-enriching session on “Functioning of Banks” for the students of Classes X and XI. The session was conducted by Mr. S.P. Singh, Former Deputy General Manager, Punjab National Bank, whose vast professional experience lent depth and authenticity to the discourse.

Mr. Singh elucidated the intricate workings of the banking system, encompassing operational procedures, account classifications, digital banking mechanisms, and the significance of financial prudence. By drawing on real-life illustrations, he provided students with a pragmatic understanding of how banks underpin economic stability and facilitate everyday transactions.

In her concluding remarks, Principal Ms. Jyoti P. Vaidya expressed profound gratitude to the esteemed speaker for his invaluable contribution and lauded the session for broadening students’ horizons. She urged the young learners to apply this knowledge meaningfully, aspire for excellence, and steer their endeavours “To Greater Heights”.
