Janmashtami Comes Alive with Joy and Innocence

The festive spirit of Janmashtami came alive at Meerut Public School, Ved Vyas Puri, as the young learners celebrated the auspicious occasion on 3 September 2026.

Dressed in charming traditional attire as Krishnas and Radhas, the little ones beautifully portrayed the divine characters, adding a delightful touch of innocence and devotion to the celebrations. Through an age-appropriate narration of the story of Lord Krishna, they were introduced to the significance of the festival and some of the traditions associated with its celebration.

The combination of storytelling, dressing up and participation in the festivities helped make the cultural experience accessible and enjoyable for the young learners, allowing them to connect with the festival in a way they could understand and relate to.

Principal Ms. Jyoti P. Vaidya and the Management appreciated the teachers’ efforts in creating an age-appropriate celebration that enabled children to experience Indian traditions through stories and shared experiences.

The celebration gave the little ones a joyful introduction to Janmashtami and its cultural significance, making the festival a memorable part of their learning at school.
