An Inter House Chess Championship

Champions are not made in playing grounds. Champions are made from something they have deep inside them - a desire, a dream, a vision.

An Inter House Chess Championship was held at BIT Global School on 14 November 2022. Meerut Public school, Ved Vyas Puri feels profusely, elated to share that our school bagged 1st Runner-Up Trophy in the Championship.

Young budding students from Grades 5 to 8 enthusiastically participated and showcased their talent and skills in different categories.

The following students brought laurels to the school-

Manvi Sharma from class 5 won second position in under 9 category.

Dev Sharma from class 6 won third position in under 11 category.

Manvi Jain from Class 6 bagged third position in under 11 category.

Anvita Jain grabbed second position in under 14 category.

Garima from class VIII secured first position in under 14 category.

The students left everyone awe-struck as they presented their talent so immaculately and effortlessly.

A special assembly was organised in the school to felicitate the achievers. The winners were applauded for their superb performance and awarded with certificates and trophies. The program culminated with Principal Sir’s addressal where he congratulated the winners for their spontaneity and confidence.
