Student Council Election (2022-23)

John Quincy Adams has rightly said, ''If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.''

We are a part of a democratic country and each one has a right to vote. We love to enjoy freedom in things we do and in choosing what we want. To earn the voters’ interest, the candidates learn a lot about the effectiveness of campaigning and strategies that work best.

With the same adage in mind Student Council Election was held in Meerut Public School, Ved Vyas Puri on July 8, 2022 for the post of Head boy, Head girl and House Captain of the four Houses.

The election began with the candidates giving the classes a brief insight about them and how they would like to carry out their role if given the opportunity. In the enclosed ballot box area , the students of classes VI to XII, casted their votes. A synchronized process was witnessed which included canvassing conducted on 7 July 2022 followed by Voting on the next day i.e. 8 July 2022.

The captain of the ship, Mr. Rajeev Goel, forwarded his Good Wishes to all the contestants and addressed the voters, steering them through his words of wisdom sensitising them about the importance of the right of voting.
