'Know Your Armed Forces' A visit to Dharohar- The Army Awareness Centre

“Our flag does not fly because the wind moves it, it flies with the last breath of each soldier who died protecting it”

As always, Meerut Public School, Ved Vyas Puri's Fraternity longs for ways to make learning easier for the children. The newest addition, GK topic of the month is a step towards the same.

To invoke values such as Fidelity, Honour, Courage, Discipline and Integrity, the budding minds were given the topic ‘Know Your Armed Forces’ for the month of April. Educatums exhibited their learning through a culmination in the form of special assembly on 20 May 2022 which included a plethora of activities.

The assembly commenced with a musical rendition by the MPSiets which escalated patriotic vibes and created a state of trance in the school premises.

The inquisitive minds learnt about various facts associated with Indian Armed Forces followed by an enactment portraying the three professional uniformed forces which really helped the students experiencing experiential learning.

To further take a dig at experiential learning, the students visited

Dharohar- The Army Awareness Center A museum which has been established to showcase the illustrious history of our elite armed forces.

Our revered Principal Sir, Mr. Rajeev Goel appreciated the ardour of the students and ruminated over the importance of Indian Armed Forces.
