Investiture & Felicitation Ceremony

"Leaders are not born but are made by their experiences in life".

To inculcate the leadership qualities in the students and to give them a feel of functioning of the administrative body, the School Students's Council was formed after scrutinous interviewing and selection.

This momentous day of 6 August 2022 dawned to bestow responsibilities on the deserving young talents of Meerut Public School, Ved Vyas Puri to lead their school from the front with their commitment, confidence and competence.

The school held the ceremony with great enthusiasm. The ceremony started with the lightning of the lamp by the revered Managing Director ma’am Ms. Ketiki Singh Shastri, virtuous Chief Guest Colonel Gyan Singh Tomar, Mrs. Vibha Tomar and the School Principal Mr. Rajeev Goel. The dance performance by the little barbie dolls was a marvellous one. The march past by all the Council Members was a spectacular event which set the mood for the event.

The Chief Guest honoured the Council Members with sashes and pinned the badges to instil the sense of responsibility in them. Our Principal Mr. Rajeev Goel administered the oath to them acquainting them with their duties.

In his address, the Chief Guest Colonel Gyan Singh Tomar congratulated the newly appointed School Council Members for their preparedness to take responsibilities. He asked them to use this opportunity for the welfare of the school and balance them well with academics to excel in both. His ideas on leadership really gave a new dimension to the dedication of the elected members. He wished luck to all the members of the Council.

To mark the day more invigorating, the toppers of Class X and XII and the teachers were felicitated under the Lalita Dhawan Scholarship Scheme. It was a moment of great pride for both the teachers and the students to receive the rewards and the appreciation letter from the revered Managing Director ma’am Ms. Ketiki Singh Shastri and the Chief Guest Colonel Gyan Singh Tomar and Mrs. Vibha Tomar.

The Principal Mr. Rajeev Goel congratulated the newly appointed School Council Members and motivated them to be the pillars in maintaining the school discipline. Sir also thanked the parents of the Council Members and the School Toppers who play a very significant role in boosting the morale of their wards and support them in every situation.
