Gita Mahotsav 2021-22

कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन ।
मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भुर्मा ते संगोऽस्त्वकर्मणि ॥

It is with spirit that Meerut Public School, Ved Vyas Puri, hosted its first Literary Fest: Gita Mahotsava on Wednesday, 29 December 2021. 
All the seven branches of Meerut Public School- Group participated in the event, making the competitions lively and stimulating. It was a splendid opportunity for the students to play with words, to act, to speak, and to be creative in all domains which engage language, combining both intellect and imagination. It was made more graceful with the presence of illustrious guests such as Dr. Kanchan Malik (Director, Managalam Hospital), Shri Charu Govind Das Ji (Spiritual Preacher, ISKCON), Ms. Madhu Dang (Social Activist).
Mrs. Kusum Shastri  (Revered Co-founder Ma'am, MPS Group), Mr. Vikramjeet Singh Shastri (Virtuous Managing Director Sir) and Virtuous Advisor to the MPS Group   Ms. Richa Sharma graced the occasion with their presence. 
The program commenced with the welcome song, lending a grand opening
 to the event.
For the students of 3-5, an Inter-Branch Staging Competition was conducted wherein the enthusiastic thespians enthralled the audience with their power-packed performances in mythological characters of Mahabharat. In Group A, Meerut Public School, Main Wing emerged out as the First position holder. For the students of 6-8, an Inter Branch English Elocution was conducted, in which the students expressed about the chapters of the Bhagwad Gita eloquently and mesmerised the audience. In Group-B, Akansha Jain of Meerut Public School, Ved Vyas Puri bagged the first position. 
The judges conceded to speak to the audience and shared their observations of students’ performances and lauded them. All participants were given out participation certificates. The event concluded with the overall winner, Meerut Public School, Ved Vyas Puri, being conferred with a magnificent rolling trophy, and the competition winners being conferred with their shields. The participants cheering for their teams filled the premises with the sound of loud applause. The event was a huge success and garnered the praise of all.
