Independence Day Celebration 2021

The Independence Day of India, which is celebrated religiously throughout the Country on the 15th of August every year, holds tremendous ground in the list of national days, since it reminds every Indian about the dawn of a new beginning, the beginning of an era of deliverance from the clutches of British colonialism of more than 200 years. We at Meerut Public School, Ved Vyas Puri celebrated this 75th Independence Day with full zeal and enthusiasm, as the MPSiets were clad in patriotic fervour. The toddlers of Kindergarten called out the slogans and sayings of our great freedom fighters. The students of Primary Wing prepared Tricolour dishes. A quiz on Independence Day was also conducted to continue with the patriotic spirit of the MPSiets. The senior wing participated in Inter-House Extempore Competition and portrayed their views about the country, the topics were given impromptu.

On 15th August, 2021, the celebration commenced with the flag hoisting and a beautiful rendition of the National Anthem. The Hon'ble Second-in-Command, R.A.F., 108 Battalion, Mr. R.K. Ranjan and Revered Deputy Commandant, R.A.F., 108 Battalion, Mr. Neeraj Chaudhary graced the occasion with their presence In his address, the Chief Guest boosted the morale of the children and urged them to grow up into dutiful citizens.

A patriotic song 'Fahar Fahar Ho', and an enactment on Sarojini Naidu enkindled the spirit of nationality among the audience. The address by the school Principal, Ms. Bela Chadha inspired everyone to stand united to fight against all odds.
