World Environment Day

On World Environment Day, the students of Meerut Public School, Ved Vyas Puri, took part in a series of impactful activities. Embracing this year’s theme of combating plastic pollution, they embarked on a visit to a local plastic recycling plant.

Furthermore, the students displayed their commitment to environmental conservation by undertaking an assignment on carbon credit.

In line with their dedication to greener initiatives, the students actively promoted the “Throw & Grow” project. They distributed seed balls in the nearby locality, encouraging residents to participate in the beautification of their surroundings. By doing so, they aimed to foster a sense of responsibility and raise awareness about the benefits of planting trees.

To culminate the day’s activities, the students also planted saplings, symbolizing their commitment to nurturing the environment and creating a greener future.

On this World Environment Day, the students in their quest for a greener future soared to reach “To Greater Heights”.
