School Rules

  • Students must come to school in proper school uniform. Uniform is compulsory at all school functions, Parent Teacher Meetings and on any visit the child may make to the school during working hours.
  • Students must be punctual to school. Reporting time on all days will be five minutes before the first bell. Entry will not be permitted subsequently.
  • At the first bell students should make their way to the place of assembly in absolute silence.
  •  At the second bell the assembly shall commence. Students are not allowed to receive visitors during school hours. Lunch/Tiffin boxes will NOT be delivered to the child under any circumstances.
  •  Students are prohibited from carrying objectionable literature / material to school.
  • The use of cell phone is strictly prohibited within the school premises. Confiscated cell phone will not be returned under any circumstances.
  • The use of mehndi, other forms of ornamentation which include jewellery or expensive watches, wearing cosmetic including kajal is not permitted. Boys are expected to wear their hair short.
  • School property must be taken care of by the students. Writing or scribbling on the walls or causing damage to school property will be treated as a breach of discipline.
  • It is mandatory to maintain a minimum of 60% marks throughout the session to avail the benefit of any kind of fee concession provided to the student (scholarship, teacher’s ward, management) failing which all concession will be withdrawn with immediate effect.
  •  Decision regarding choice of section or allotment of section in case of a new section is the prerogative of only school authorities & is always taken in the best interest of the student. Request regarding change of section will not be entertained at all.
  • It is mandatory to converse in English for all students while they are in the school premises. Hindi conversation may lead to a deduction of marks from the English examination paper.
  • Disobedience, disrespect towards teachers or bad moral influence or jeopardizing the safety of school, at student’s or his/her guardian’s level will justify dismissal of a student with immediate effect.
  • Bunking of school by student of any class irrespective of  age, will lead to immediate rustication and expulsion of student from the school without any explanation whatsoever.
  • The school shall not be held responsible for any unforeseen accident/illness or mishap, which may occur, during School Hours or School Trips.
  •  Parent’s attendance is mandatory at all Parent Teacher Meetings. It is parent’s /guardian’s responsibility to ensure correct authentic signatures on report card and all important notices.
  •  Only and only parents will be entertained on the PTM’s.
  • Signing of report card only by the Parents within a week of result declaration is mandatory.
  • The School discourages private tuitions. In case it is absolutely essential, please contact the Principal.
  • As regards promotion/ detention the decision of the Principal is final.

General Guidelines To Parents

  • Learning improves when there is regularity. You are requested to encourage your child to be regular to the school.
  • Kindly ensure that the children have light breakfast before coming to school. Have at least two meals together with them. Share little stories with them. Tell them about your childhood and family history. Greet them cheerfully when they come back from school. Spend time with them and ask them about the day’s activities. Let them learn to take care of their own belongings. Encourage them to keep their things in order and in proper manner.
  • Students are not allowed to leave the school durind the school hours. Leave for half day is not permitted.
  • Avoid sending your child to the school in case he/she is unwell.
  • Do not send any expensive items with your child to the school.
    • Ensure that your child carries one set of clothes and footwear (labelled) for any emergency in the school.
    • No visitors will be allowed to contact any student.
    • No long leave of absence (more than a week) is granted without the prior permission of the Principal, unless the child is ill. A medical Certificate need to be submitted on joining the school.
    • A leave application is necessary for any leave taken by the child. It has to be sent to the school the day the child joins back.
    • A long leave of a week, without any intimation to the school, renders the child’s name to be struck off from the rolls of the school. Re-admission may be granted only at the discretion of the Principal.
    • Students suffering from the following diseases should observe the period of quarantine.
    • Chicken Pox : Till complete falling of scabs.
      Measles : Till 2 Weeks after the rashes disappear.
      Mumps : Until the swelling has gone(a month).
      Jaundice : About six weeks.
      Whooping Cough : About 6 weeks.

    • Change in Address or Telephone Number of parents or guardians must be intimated to the School in writing without delay. The School will not be responsible for non-receipt of any communication in case the changes are not intimated.

Fee Rules

  • Fees to be paid regularly by the 10th of the specified month at the school/bank in cash only.
  • School Fee has to be paid for twelve months.
  • If the school Fee is not paid for three consecutive months, the name of the child will be "Struck Off" the rolls on account of nonpayment of Dues. Re-admission will be granted only at the discretion of the Principal on payment of Rs. 500/- .
  • The School and the Bank hold no responsibility in event of any discrepancy in fee deposition due to an error in filling of the Name, Class, Section or mention of the wrong admission number by the Parents/Guardian or the students.
  • During holidays of the school, the Bank does not stop taking payment of fee. They have their own holidays as per the Bank schedule; hence, fee can be deposited on all days except Sundays and Bank Holidays.
  • School does not hold any authority over the working schedule of the bank timings. Parents must kindly adhere to the bank timings.
  • Dates of fee collection in the Bank/School will not be extended in the event of holidays. No extra days will be permitted in lieu of the holidays. Parents are hence, requested to make arrangements accordingly, to avoid late fee fine payments.
  • In case the student's name is appearing as a defaulter, the student would be required to show the fee booklet for clarification.
  • A late fee fine of Rs.50/- in the first month and the multiples of Rs.50/- will be charged in the consecutive months if the fee is paid after the due date.
  • Name, Adm. No., Class and Section of the student must be filled in correctly and legibly on the Fee Book.
  • Duplicate Fee Booklet will be issued only after the payment of Rs. 50/- after obtaining a certificate from the Administrative Office.
  • Fee must be paid as per the directions given on the assigned days to avoid penalty.
  • The school offers a discount of 10% on the Tuition Fee only on advance fee payment by the 10th April for the complete session.
 
  • Annual charges have been bifurcated in three installments: in the months of April, July and August for parents' convenience.
  • Rules for Leave

    • A student is expected to be regular in attending school. Hundred percent attendance is expected from each student.
    •  A student absent on the previous day must submit a Leave Application signed by the parent the next day to the Class Teacher.
    • 90% attendance is mandatory for promotion to the next class.
    •  No Half Day or Short Leave will be granted to the student even on examination & cycle test.
