International Day of Yoga

*"Yoga is essentially a practice for your soul, working through the medium of your body"*.

To highlight the necessity of yoga in the contemporary era, *The International Day of Yoga*, initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is observed globally on June 21 every year.

This year *Yogi Bablu Thakur, a Certified Yoga Trainer* under *Patanjali Yogpeeth* presided in the school to uprise the students along with the educators about Advanced Yoga asanas and their utility to purify body, mind and soul.

The educands participated in the session enthusiastically and practiced the asanas as demonstrated by the *Yog Guru*.

This power pack session helped the students in understanding the significance of 30 minutes yogic exercises daily and it's result in form of a resplendent change in their life.

Our insightful Principal Mr. Rajeev Goel illuminated the students with the dazzling words that Yoga is the union of body and consciousness, which helps in maintaining a balanced lifestyle. Regular yoga practice creates mental clarity and calmness; increases body awareness; relieves chronic stress patterns; relaxes the mind; centers attention; and sharpens concentration.
