Poster Making Activity - Rabindranath Tagore Jayanti

“I Slept and Dreamt That Life Was a Joy. I Awoke and Saw That Life Was Service. I Acted and Behold, Service Was a Joy.”

May 7 finds a special significance globally and annually as it marks the birth anniversary of the exceptional literary icon, Rabindranath Tagore. He is lovingly and respectfully called Gurudev, Kabiguru and Biswakabi. A supremely talented man, Tagore donned many hats –poet, writer, playwright, composer, philosopher, social reformer, educationist, linguist, and painter.

To celebrate the occasion Meerut Public School, Ved Vyas Puri organised a poster making competition. Students were electrified to pay the tribute to the great personality through their art. Outstanding posters of Rabindranath Tagore were sketched by the educands.

Our dignified Principal Mr. Rajeev Goel appreciated the zeal of the students and apprised them about the magnificent works of Rabindranath Tagore in the field of art, literature and music.
