World Youth Skills Day

“Follow your dreams and use your natural born talents and skills to make this world a better place to live”.

Meerut Public School Ved Vyas Puri , believes in holistic development of students. To encourage life long learning to the new generation, the school organised a plethora of activities for classes X -XII to celebrate World Youth Skills Day on 15 July 2022.

The day is celebrated to mark the strategic importance of equipping young people with skills for employment, decent work and entrepreneurship.

The Students of class 10 were taken on an educational trip to Parag Limited to enrich them on how this company creates fresh trends in dairy consumption and making milk moments a source of delight and inspiration.

The objective of this tour was to let the students explore and know about the techniques and chronology of food processing and challenges of entrepreneurship. The students felt exuberated and were highly interactive during this tour .

Also, the students of class 11 were taught the basic life skills (such as carpentry, gardening and experiencing working with electronics) by the Ancillary staff in order to invoke hands on learning.
