Children’s Day or Bal Diwas Celebration

“Every child is a different kind of flower, and all together, they make this world a beautiful garden.”

November 14 is celebrated as Children’s Day or BalDiwas every year in India. The special day is celebrated to commemorate the birth anniversary of the first Prime Minister of India JawaharLal Nehru, born on November 14, 1889 who was fondly called Chacha Nehru or simply Chachaji. He was very popular amongst children for his love. November 14 marks Nehru Ji’s devotion to welfare, education and development of children and young people.

A joyous milieu was palpable on the occasion of Children's Day Celebration at Meerut Public School, Ved Vyas Puri.
The celebrations began with a special assembly where the teachers made the occasion memorable for their students. The educators presented the assembly in a fun filled manner and treated the children with a melodious medley of songs which brought beautiful smiles on everyone’s face.

The assembly was followed by a show time for kindergarteners and carnival named FUNVILLE for Primary, Middle & Senior wing. The students participated enthusiastically, gave the much needed break from studies and gave the students an opportunity to indulge in different activities.

Everyone enjoyed the scrumptious delicacies and fun filled games. A variety of pleasurable corners like nail art, customised face masks, tattoo and selfie booth were also planned keeping in mind the excitement factor.

The children felt very excited, appreciated and loved throughout the celebration as their teachers showered voluminous love and heaps of blessings upon them.

The Principal, Mr. Rajeev Goel, bestowed his blessings over the educatums and wished them all the luck for future endeavours.
