Krishna Janamashtmi was celebrated with sheer enthusiasm at MPS Ved Vyaspuri.
Kindergarteners dressed up in colourful robes of Lord Krishnaand Radha.
Students did crown making, feather making ,bansuri decoration and matki decoration in their scrap books. The children were delighted to give ‘jhoola’ to Krishna’s idol. A heartwarming skit performance was given by the students of middle wing based on theme “ Maiyya Meri Main Nahi Makhan Khayo” followed by traditional folk dance by the girl students on “Chhoti Chhoti Gayyian “ and spell bound the hearts of the audience. `Matki Todh' happened amidst much enthusiasm.
Later on ‘Bhog’ ceremony to Lord Krishna was done by the Principal and the teachers followed by Prasad distribution to all the students.
This festival taught them to be friendly and also the value of sharing.
