Hindi Divas celebration

The 14th of September is celebrated as Hindi Divas, which commemorates the adoption of Hindi as one of India's official languages. Hindi is a very rich language that has made significant contributions to the field of literature. It is considered to be one of the most popular languages and one of the sweetest.

On this day, our school, Meerut Public School, Ved Vyas Puri conducted an Inter House Hindi Debate Competition on the motion : शिक्षण के सम्बन्ध में इंटरनेट का माध्यम अच्छा है या बुरा. The Hon'ble Principal Ma'am Ms. Bela Chadha, Senior and Middle Wing Coordinators were the judges of this competition.

Vivekananda House bagged the first position and Swati Yadav and Khushi Yadav emerged out as the best speakers.

In the end, the school Principal in her motivational speech congratulated the winners, lauded the efforts of the Hindi Department and appreciated the teachers for grooming the students.

We hold Hindi in high regard and hold it close to our hearts. We must never forget the sacrifices our forefathers made to win the right to speak their native tongue.
