World Environment Day 2020

To sensitise the Students towards the nurturing of environment, Meerut Public School, Vedvyaspuri, celebrated the 'World Environment Day' with full zeal and concern towards the nature. The theme of the World Environment Day of 2020 was 'Connecting People to Nature'.

Addressing two of India's biggest problems - Wet Waste Management and lack of green cover. On the occasion of World Environment Day, Meerut Public School, Vedvyaspuri has come up with these two innovative ideas. One is converting the waste into compost, and the other is using that compost to encourage MPSiets to grow more trees with the intention of bringing down the air pollution levels in the city.

The MPSiets had been collecting waste materials from their homes to make their own compost.

On this significant day, they shared their pictures with the school and inspired others to take the charge and love nature.
