With this sparkling thought, MPSVVP celebrated Diwali on 22nd October, 2022 which added much exuberance and brought great joy. The name ‘Deepavali’ literally means an ‘array of lights’. The festival spiritually signifies the victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, good over evil, and hope over despair.

The day commenced with desires and hope by remembering the Almighty, paying tribute to Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha, the reflection of prosperity and good fortune respectively. The hymns and mantras created a devotional environment with pious yagyakunda. Soulful rendition of festive songs brought out the essence of the festival -celebration of life and goodness which was presented by the students with full vigour.

Students participated in various activities such as Candle or Diya Decoration with colors and glitter, Thali Decoration, Bandhanwar Making, Wall Hanging Making, Rangoli Making, Flameless Sweet Making etc.

Respected Principal, Mr. Rajeev Goel inspired the ambience with his glorious persona. He highlighted the significance of Diwali and related festivals to the MPSites. He motivated the students to celebrate a pollution-free Diwali and re-iterated the benevolent message of ‘Say No to Crackers’. He elaborated that our real dhan is our health and we pray for physical, mental, emotional, spiritual well-being of all.
