Basketball Team wins Gold Medal at CBSE Cluster Level

MPGS, Shastri Nagar, Basketball Team wins Gold Medal at CBSE Cluster for Second Year in a row!

Makes its mark at the National Level!

The CBSE Cluster Basketball Tournament was held at Sparsh Global School, Greater Noida, from July 23-27, 2025, with 67 teams participating in the Under-17 category. As defending champions, Meerut Public Girls’ School, Shastri Nagar team showcased exceptional skill and determination, winning all matches with remarkable scores:

Vs. Florence International School, Score - 44/0

Vs. Lotus Valley School, Noida, Score - 25/06

Vs. Manthan School, Noida, Score - 12/01

Quarterfinal: Vs. The Khaitan School, Noida, Score - 18/06

Semifinal: Vs. Gayatri Public School, Agra, Score - 38/14

Final: Vs. Seth Anandram Jaipuria, Score - 24/11

With this decisive victory, MPGS Shastri Nagar secured the gold medal for the second consecutive year and earned recognition at the national level, bringing immense pride to the school and the city.

The team was given a grand welcome at the school with dhol beats and a flower shower. MPS Group Managing Director, Mr. Vikramjeet Singh Shastri, and Principal, Mrs. Sapna Ahuja, felicitated the CBSE Basketball Cluster team students and coach, Mr. Omkar Singh, with saplings, appreciating their achievement and encouraging them them for greater success ahead.
