AISSCE CLASS XII RESULT 2025-2026
Meerut Public Girls’ School, Shastri Nagar observed National Sports Day to commemorate the birth anniversary of legendary hockey player Major Dhyan Chand, with students from Balvatika to Class V participating in a range of sporting activities.
The programme began with Principal Mrs. Sapna Ahuja lighting the ceremonial torch, setting the stage for the day’s events. Yoga and P.T. drills were followed by age-appropriate competitions including the Jack and Jill Race, Car Race, Cone Balancing Race, Tunnel Race, Commando Race and Pull the Ring Race.
The different activities gave young students opportunities to run, balance, manoeuvre through obstacles and participate in friendly competition. The winning students of the competitive events were awarded medals and certificates of merit.
In her concluding address, Principal Mrs. Sapna Ahuja appreciated the enthusiasm of all the participants and encouraged all the students to make sports and physical activity a regular part of their lives, emphasising their importance for both physical fitness and mental well-being.
