A Session on Pollution And Asthma Awareness.

The price of prosperity - pollution is stealing the planet's vitality and creating harm to the environment and the people.

Meerut Public Girls’ School Shastri Nagar organised a session on Pollution and Asthma Awareness. The session commenced with the green welcome of the Guest Speaker Dr. Sandeep Jain, the Immediate Past President of the Indian Medical Association and the Chairperson of the Meerut Forum for Clean Air and his team members - Dr. Rashi Agarwal and Dr. Shubham Jain. Dr. Rashi Agarwal introduced the agenda of the session and Dr. Sandeep Jain elaborated it with a video and power point presentation. He enlightened students on how to reduce the pollution, as children are the best channel to spread awareness and bring a positive and effective change. He suggested students to follow many simple but effective tips like plantation, carpooling , using public transport etc. Dr. Rashi Agarwal also guided students how to use social media wisely. She highlighted that we should use social media but should not allow social media to use us.

Furthermore Dr. Shubham Jain imparted information about Asthma Recognition and Its Management in School. He advised the school to make an Asthma Policy and Asthma Task Force along with controlling environment.

Madam Principal Mrs Sapna Ahuja and Vice Principal Mr Shiv Suri extended their gratitude to the Guest Speakers and inspired students to follow the valuable tips shared in the session. Indeed the session was very informative and insightful to endow students with life skills.
