Basant Panchami Celebration

The advent of Basant marks the onset of a colourful spectrum, sweet breeze, beautiful blossoms, nature singing, freshness blooming in the lush green fields and a day to be bestowed with divine blessings because on this day the deity of knowledge, wisdom and music, Goddess Saraswati incarnated.

MPGS Shastri Nagar commenced the celebration on this auspicious day by worshipping Goddess Saraswati by lighting the holy lamp and offering flowers to seek Her blessings.

The school choir invoked the Goddess with their melodious songs and filled the milieu with divinity and spirituality. A scintillating dance performance by the students enthralled the audience filling their hearts with festive flavour.

Madam Principal inspired the students to inculcate the virtues of Goddess Saraswati in themselves. Ma'am further told them to learn the symbolic significance of Goddess Saraswati- the rosary of Goddess Saraswati is the symbol of concentration and meditation, the swan refers to purity and selection of excellence and the book denotes wisdom and knowledge.

A heavenly aura pervaded the celebration, which represented the rejuvenation of life.

May Goddess Saraswati pour down the world with the nectar of joy, happiness, life, wisdom and knowledge.
