Felicitation of 2nd Runners up of Basketball Championship

Meerut Public Girls’ School, Shastri Nagar Celebrates Bronze Medal Win at CBSE Basketball National Tournament 2024-25.

Meerut Public Girls’ School, Shastri Nagar, organized a grand welcome and felicitation ceremony to honor its talented basketball team, who clinched the bronze medal at the 19th CBSE Basketball Girls Tournament National 2024-25 organized from 9th to 13th October 2024 at Golden International School in Indore. Earlier, Under 14, Under 17, and Under 19 categories, Meerut Public Girls' School, Shastri Nagar team excelled at CBSE Basketball Cluster (DMA Meerut) and advanced to National CBSE Cluster where it competed against 25 teams including the teams from Doha and Saudi Arab in the Under 17 category.

The Winning team arrived on stage, dancing to the beats of Dhol. They were garlanded and felicitated along with proud parents.Their trainer and teacher were also recognized for mentoring the team outstandingly. Anshika Sharma, Best Player, received special recognition Madam Principal congratulated the team, praising their dedication and teamwork. She encouraged other students to dream big, work relentlessly, and believe in themselves. Ma’am also thanked the Management, Director Academics and Systems, Mr. Gyan Singh Tomar, for their valuable guidance and support.
